This is a discrete concealment case intended to carry an MP5k series submachinegun. There is no external sign that the case is anything other than a standard businessman’s leather satchel. Close examination of the case would show that there are four sets of latches for the top of the case, two on either side. The handle of the case securely clamps on the top of an MP5K, in the same location as an optical sight mount, with a modified telescopic sight base. The muzzle of the weapon sockets into a small, hard tube on one end of the case to help protect the inside of the case when the weapon is fired. On the opposite end of the case is a long slit to allow the operator to slide his firing hand into the case and grasp the pistol grip of the weapon. There is sufficient room inside the case for the operator to manipulate the selector switch on the weapon. The weapon can be fired from inside the case by simply pulling the trigger with the firing hand while the non-firing hand holds the hard handle of the satchel. The weapon can be quickly removed from the case by unsnapping the four latches and drawing the gun up from the bag. There are two snaps at the top of the slit that allows the operator to keep his grip on the weapon as it is lifted up. The snaps open from the pressure of the operators firing hand and the weapon come up with the top of the case still attached. With the weapon drawn, even with the top of the case in place, the iron sights of the weapon can be used. The Special Bag is wide enough that an MP5K-PDW weapon can be carried concealed. The Special Bag can be used by right or left-handed operators.
