SERVICE – Czechoslovakian military, supplied to Nigeria, Cuba, Syria as well as sold to South Africa
This is the last submachinegun in the series that began with the Vz-23 in 9x19mm. The weapon is almost identical to the Vz-25 submachine gun except for being chambered in 7.62x25mm. Changes to the interior mechanism of the weapon for the 7.62×25 round centered on the bolt face, barrel, and feed system. The pistol grip was changed slightly to a forward rearward angle to aid in feeding the longer 7.62mm round. Additionally, the magazine was changed and only a 32-round version manufactured for the Vz-24 and Vz-26 weapons.
