This is also copy of a Japanese WWII design, in this case the Type 98 stick grenade. A basic change in the design was the addition of external serrations to the fragmentation head. The stick handle is very much a copy of the German WWII Stiehlgranate 24 style with the closing plug being a wooden stopper rather than a screw cap.
